Science & the City

The dissemination of scientific knowledge to the general public is an important social duty for all scientists, at the core of the advancement of culture and education of the society we live in. Over the years I have been lucky enough to take part in dissemination events both as part of the organizing team, as well as an invited speaker.

Organization of scientific dissemination events

  • Spring 2006: A scuola con il cervello
    Series of conferences targeted at high school students, organized in collaboration with the Board of Education of Verona.
  • Fall 2006 – Spring 07: Cerebralmente
    Series of neuroscientific talks and round tables, organized in collaboration with the Literary Society of Verona.
  • May 2014: La Bufala è servita
    Events in line with the national initiative Italia unita per la scienza, with the aim of increasing awareness among the general public on science and science-related information.
  • March 2021: Brain Awareness Week – Verona
